On October 30, 2006 Josh and Mike wrapped up the second Roots Music Program at the W.J. Maxey Boys Training School with a fantastic concert.
The boys were outstanding in every aspect of the performance. As he did for the first Maxey Roots program, Robert Jones was there to add his acoustic blues magic.
This time, singer/songwriter Kitty Donohoe, who is working with Mike on a Roots program at the Adrian Training School, did a "cameo" appearance to preview the group song the girls from Adrian have written.
Reporter Maureen Feighan and photographer Brandy Baker from the Detroit News were there to cover it, and this article appeared on November 1.
